(February,2020 - April,2022)
The Child malnutrition response campaign was alleviating child malnutrition in Yemen through a comprehensive,
pediatric-centered program. The project involved the strategic distribution of essential vitamins and calcium supplements,
coupled with supportive care and education. We aimed to improve the health and development of children impacted by the severe food crisis in Yemen,
while also equipping their families and communities with the knowledge to manage and prevent malnutrition in the future.
Our strategy covered three main areas:
1.Supply Chain Management: Setting up a distribution network to deliver vitamins and calcium supplements to affected areas, considering the logistical challenges posed by the ongoing conflict.
2.Healthcare Provision: Collaborating with local healthcare providers for the direct administration of supplements and for monitoring and treating severe cases of malnutrition.
3.Community Education: Conducting workshops and training sessions to educate families
and communities about the causes, effects, and prevention of malnutrition.
